Is it right for my home?

A 12 kW boiler is best for smaller, well-insulated homes with lower heating and hot water demand. Choose 15 kW for larger homes or higher use.

A system boiler works with a separate hot water cylinder, which suits larger homes. A combi heats water on demand and suits smaller homes without a cylinder.

Running costs

A typical 1–3 bedroom home can expect annual electricity costs of £800–£1,800, depending on insulation, usage and tariff. Electricity costs more per unit than gas, but there is no flue, no annual gas safety check and very little servicing.

I had Gledhill Pulsacoil for water heating and storage. Since I changed it to an ECA system boiler, I don’t have any issues with hot water. Thanks Arda for the detailed information about the products. I recommend it to everyone!
